I'm an adult female green sea turtle encountered nesting on July 11, 2011, on the beach in the Tortuguero National Park, Costa Rica. I measure 103.3 cm in curved carapace (shell) length.
A satellite transmitter was applied to my shell after I finished nesting. You can view a slideshow of the attachment and release. Check out my marathon migration map, where you can follow along as I swim.
I'm being sponsored by the Sea Turtle Conservancy. I'm swimming to raise awarness about the threat of Climate Change to sea turtles. Please help me raise awareness about my cause by supporting me!
