I'm an adult female leatherback sea turtle encountered nesting on June 5, 2010, in Zone 7 on Chiriquí Beach in Panama. I measured 145.5 cm in curved carapace (shell) length. I was first observered by STC researchers nesting earlier in the 2010 season.
A satellite transmitter was applied to my shell after I finished nesting. You can view a slideshow of the attachment and release. Check out my marathon migration map, where you can follow along as I swim.
I'm being sponsored by the Casa Tortuga. I'm swimming to raise awarness about the threat of Marine Pollution - Oil Spills, to sea turtles. Please help me raise awareness about my cause by supporting me!
