My name is Corona del Mar, which means "Jewel of the Sea." I'm an adult female olive ridley sea turtle that was encountered nesting on September 21, 2010, on Las Bocanitas Beach, El Salvador. I measured 63.2 cm in curved carapace (shell) length.

A satellite transmitter was applied to my shell after I finish nesting. Check out my marathon migration map, where you can follow along as I swim.

I'm being sponsored by Arenas del Pacifico. I'm swimming to raise awarness about the threat of Harvest - Eggs for Consumption to sea turtles. Please help me raise awareness about my cause by supporting me!
