  My name is "Arenita." I'm an adult female olive ridley sea turtle encountered nesting on August 26, 2008, on Las Bocanitas, El Salvador. I measured 71 cm in curved carapace (shell) length and 73.7 cm in curved carapace width.
A satellite transmitter was applied to my shell after I finished nesting. You can watch when I was released the next morning. Check out my marathon migration map, where you can follow along as I swim.
